Aim: to provide an opportunity for the learners to develop their reading and speaking skills by gathering   information on the cause and results of environment pollution and discussing ways of protecting the Earth.

Teacher: Hello, dear boys and girls! I am very glad to see you at our lesson because we have an unusual lesson – we have guests today but my dear friends, don t worry: work as you usually work at our English Lessons.
The theme of our lesson is “When in London, do as the Londoners do”. Today we’ll speak about the UK, London Sights and we will have a talk about healthy food. That s why the walls of our classroom are decorated in this way: you see the geographical map of the country, the flags and the symbols of different parts of the UK, some places of interest in London. We’ll revise everything we know. Are you ready? Let’s start. I wish you good luck.

T. At last we are in London. As you know, London stands on the Thames. It is a very old city. About seven million people live here. Remember: when you are in London, speak only English and do as the Londoners do. Now we have time to plan our trip around this beautiful city. What places of interest would you like to visit?
